Proposed cultivation of triploid (functionally sterile) Pacific Oysters within Lake Conjola

Southern Oyster Culture, the new owners of the oyster leases within Lake Conjola and Lake Berringer are applying to the NSW Department of Primary Industries to alter their aquaculture permits to enable the cultivation of triploid Pacific Oysters. The following documents are the covering letter of explanation to the Conjola Community Association, and a reference evaluation of the risks of stocking the lakes with triploid Pacific Oysters
