The Conjola Volunteer Rural Fire Brigade spans all areas in Conjola and Fisherman’s Paradise. Volunteer training is on most Sunday mornings at the Fire Station in Thorne Street at 9.00am. General meetings are normally held on the first Sunday of the month at 9.30am, alternating between Conjola and Fisherman’s Paradise Stations. We welcome new members, just drop in and have a chat about joining us.

Fire Danger Period
The Fire Danger Period is 1st September - 31st March each year unless otherwise notified. During this period it is illegal to light a fire without a permit (exemptions apply). A property owner may apply for a permit from Shoalhaven Fire Control (Ph: 02 4424 4424), Geoff Phillips (Ph: 0412 552 225) or Clive Turner (Ph: 0428 561 300).

Neighbourhood Safe Place
Our Neighbourhood safe place or shelter of last resort from a bush fire is the Lake Conjola Community Centre, corner of Lake Conjola Entrance Road and Aney Street.
