Aftermath of Lake Conjola Flooding Aug 2015

Thank you to the 105 persons who attended the public meeting on Sunday 30 Aug 2015 to discuss the aftermath of the flood on 25-26 Aug and to hear what your Community Association plan to do to minimise the impact of future flooding. 

As mentioned at the meeting, the following are links to sample letters that residents and caravan park tenants can send to Shoalhaven City Council to express  their concern/outrage at Council staff mismanagement of Lake Conjola's Entrance.

Council today have provided a skip bin for flood affected items. The bin is located near the tennis courts at Arthur Jones Park (near the Conjola Community Centre). Despite approaches by the Conjola Community Association, Council have refused to provide a kerbside rubbish collection service. Joanna Gash also mentioned on ABC Radio this morning that 70 tonnes of flood rubbish has been collected at the Conjola tip.
